Not a lead but I work as a selector/attendant. From what I've noticed in my role, leads who aren't abrupt are great help for us. Don't be snippy if we can't find something. We have pressure to find items in 30-40 seconds now. Oftentimes the Baymax is wrong because any resets sets everything off. We learn to work around it but sometimes it doesn't allow constant checking aisle to aisle. Remember those constantly picking have a lot of duties placed by the store, too. We do our best with constantly moving between the roles while also helping store customers.

Every employee has an excuse and wants their boss to be less abrupt.  Each side needs to step into the others' shoes.  Your Lead is under pressure too!  More than you.  Work faster, pay attention.  Chances are you are making someone look bad.

If your at a smaller store....befriend and get to know your associates, the more you connect the less issues you have.

If your at a big store......good luck. Also, OOS and Subs will be your worse issue...after associates who don't show up to work.
