They called my phone yesterday and left a voicemail saying that I was late for my shift and that I should get there immediately. I called back and they were like "you're scheduled to work today and you should get here immediately." I was kinda shocked and I immediately looked at eSchedule to double check and I was NOT scheduled to work that day, and I'm pretty sure the store copy I saw said the same thing.
So after some arguing back and forth, they realized they were looking at the wrong schedule...

Thankfully they realized the mistake. Heck at my store with so many folks going back and forth between Deli and Bakery now. They are forgetting to write changes on BOTH schedules. Like how they had a chick I used to work with a lot in bakery, get moved down to the chicken shop. And she has been down there for a while til they brought her over to bakery for a few 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. shifts. Well apparently the back ups must have did a lot of yacking about needing someone to cover the hours when the new person never showed up. So figuring said co-worker was down for covering other peeps shifts anyway, they could just write her in for the bakery shift. But they apparently didn't write it in on the deli one too. So of course she didn't show that day, as she thought she was still off as per the deli schedule. Well apparently do to being dubbed a no show, I think they wrote her up and wanted her to sign it. But thankfully the union lady came in to visit us the next day and they worked things out.
But yea, definitely get a picture and even make sure you close by when they are doing your schedule. Which I try to be, cause before I got full time. Some of the full timers used to be trying to get such and such a day off. And then they would need someone to cover. And guess whose name would be in the mix more times than not? So yea, definitely be on alert about that kind of thing.
^ Yeah they've been changing/updating the schedules at my store a lot lately. Always make sure to keep up with the paper one, folks. I almost showed up late to work one day because the times on the eSchedule and paper schedule were way different.
