Without a manager's override? When the coupon scans, it gives a prompt that says "No Matches Found" and then gives an option to accept the coupon or reject.
I've noticed this is true at both regular registers and Uscan.
If it displays the message we are suppose to check it closely. If we find it doesn't match their order we can reject it. Expired needs +1 item or not the right brand. We are really only suppose to substitute if we do not sell or are out of the time. The coupon code is 55380 but I think individual store rules vary and cashiers may or may not be allowed to use it. Uscan has their own over ride code. If you have trouble memorizing it just write it down in the front of the checker book.
I never heard of that code before in my store. I either use the Manufacturer coupon code 78991 or Store coupon code 78990 if the coupon doesn't scan and the item matches up.
If your Store Coupon does not work for some reason or you have to "make it right" with that coupon..... Type in the price of the item, price override, scan coupon, 1 Enter, clean, override, enter......

53380 - Digital Coupon Not working
Our touchscreen registers don't have an override button.
Every store has their unique rules. What I use to be able to do at my other store:compete freedom like they trusted you with a set of manager keys to sniping over little details.Kroger is stupid and needs to crack down on company policy.I've worked at three/four stores and each store has a unique store policy that mirrors the company policy. They basically use the company policy as a stepping stone then tweak it according to their clientele needs, wants and theft patterns.Which is wrong but they do it.
