A customer recognized me while I was shopping around, during my day off, and out of uniform. They asked me "excuse me, you work here right? Where can I find blah blah blah?"
Uh, I know right. I still get questions like that and I don't even work there anymore! I still end up helping them out though cause i'm too nice sometimes. >_>

Even if you're not on the clock and in street clothes, is it that much of a problem to help a person out for a few minutes? Especially since working there, you'd know in general where just about anything is in the store.
Bugs me to death. People say, why do customers bother me when I'm not even in uniform? Well they know you work there, and hope you'll be a decent person and offer at least a little assistance.
I get people asking me questions like this in other stores too....... I can be in Target and they walk up to me and ask for help! I'm like sure.... (wearing hat, shorts, sandals, t-shirt).....
I use to not be bothered. Could care less, but then I realized it's just a simple question usually. Asking where something is. 1 mijnute or less and...boom you're done. I just tell them where the item is located and I'm done.
