Family Medical Leave

Since my injury earlier this month I've been back and forth with doctors, the workman's comp folks, etc. and I remain confused.

I gave my 2 weeks notice the same day as my injury and I had 3 days on my regular schedule during the time I was off on medical leave.  Today, I received a stack of papers from the workman's comp people in Ohio and one of the generic info papers said I should be covered by FML.  Before I call the store, does this sound right?  Does this mean I should get paid for the days I was on medical leave?  I've never been through something like this before and to be honest, if it means fighting for it, I'm not up to it.  I'm not on great terms with my store right now and I'd rather not deal with them if I can avoid it.  Plus, I don't want to look like an idiot if this FML thing doesn't actually apply to my situation.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in Advance.
