Contrary to what some have posted over the last few weeks on this site, I am sure that the great majority of comments posted through the Kroger feedback forum online, are indeed authentic (not posted by employees using receipts they picked up off the floor). It might happen at some stores, but I have not noticed ANYTHING that would lead me to believe this happens at my store.
Most of them are rather just plain boring and uninformative, most go something like this:
I got everything I needed on this trip.......................... Everything was OK.............................. the parking was a mess but otherwise I am very happy with this store..........the aisles are crowded, can you get rid of those free-standing racks so we can get through without bumping into them?............... Nice store, I found everything I needed................wish you would stock the [whatever] brand of [whatever], I have to drive to [whatever] to pick it up and I wish I could get it here.................the produce looked fresh and the checkout cashier was friendly....................the bagger was very efficient.......................nothing out of the ordinary...................I like this store!...............................Great!.......................the dairy clerk didn't acknowledge me but he was very busy so no big deal...........................good store.......................nothing stood out as meriting a "highly satisfied" score...............................average..............................................I like shopping here!........................... Ho hum................................ why did you discontinue [whatever], I really liked that product!!!!!!!!!!.........................................
And on and on and on.
If someone faked a feedback survey, I would think they would put something more interesting or "juicy" in their comments.
I saw some shady "custome comments" that would trash other fron end workers. Then there would be a comment that said " I will only be checked out by ____ they are the greatest blah blah it was such bull.
To do a survey you do not have to comment at all, I would question someone getting too many GREAT comments if anything! Most customer do not comment, they only comment if they had a GREAT/GREAT experience or a HORRIBLE one!
If we get a great osat survey, then who cares if it's been faked? A good osat score is something my store is required to get. Even if it's fake. There's no way to tell. Hell, even I've done (And still do) fake osat surveys that give us a great score.

If Kroger was TRULY, ETHICALLY, HONEST and SINCERE about the REASON / PURPOSE for the OSAT score in the first place, we should be concerned about the comments being real and honest. Otherwise the whole purpose of the OSAT is completely pointless.
BUT, as we know, Kroger isn't very honest or sincere, and many of our employees think the same way................corrupt and uncaring. So the whole OSAT thing will never do any real, solid GOOD as long as it is inherently skewed toward the negative....... because whoever in Kroger designed the program from the get-go didn't do it honestly, realistically, or objectively.
Basically, because of the way it is designed (a store can get 100% "SATISFIED" comments yet will score a big fat zero), it is a pile of feces. It needs to be scrapped and started all over.............or, better yet, let's not have it at all.
