I think this is slightly off topic but I'm curious to know.

I really like the pie though.

The one from the bakery?  Back when we used to bake them they were much better.  They were Mrs. Smith's brand made specially for the bakery department.    Even I liked them and I don't like pumpkin pie.  We used to bake between 900 and 1000 pies.  We could bake 84 at a time and it took 90 minutes or more to bake each batch.  Needless to say, with only one oven and having to do extra bread and fruit pies too, the oven was running 24 hours a day from Sunday to Wednesday during Thanksgiving week.

You like it. Cause when I tried it a week ago, it was so nasty. Don't know what happened, but I will not buy Kroger Brand pie this holiday season.

Well, damn. Cause I just bought a 10" pie. They were on sale for $6 instead of $9.

Does Kroger sell two different types of their pumpkin pies? The one I tried was in the plastic container withe the plastic clear top, not the one on the box. It was not an enjoyable experience eating that junk.

there's 3 pumpkin pies at Thanksgiving time, the 8" in the plastic container, the 10" in the plastic container, and the 12" collosal pumpkin pie in the box. The 8 and the 10 are both from the same recipe, the 12 is different I think.
