I mean, they do appreciate help. But many, if not all stores don't have enough hours for their own people. Doesn't hurt to go and ask. Even if they won't need you now, they may remember you for next time.
I would take anyone willing to actually help and that were productive. The problem is, if its OT or regular hours! I have always said, if someone is willing to work the shifts I need and they want 40.... its basically guaranteed. OT is very hit or miss now, either they tell you to use what you need or its NO OT PERIOD! OT is a double edged, associates love some OT, but hate OT when its week after week.
I work in front end, do you think other front end managers would appreciate temporary help even if it's from another store?
Right now.... probably not. It's hectic enough this time of year as it is. Can't hurt to ask though.
