Im in the Dallas sub division and I was wondering how long you have to be with the company before you start getting vacation pay. I am part time and have been with the company for 6 months

Not Dallas but out by me, you have to have 1 year under your belt before you will begin to accrue any vacation time. Talk to your HR manager if you need more specifics or consult your contract. That's all I can really say.

Sort of.  Depends on your contract.

Here:  1 year = 1 week.  3 years = 2 weeks, 8 years = 3 weeks, 13 years=4 weeks, 18 years =5 weeks.

It's from the Union contract. Should be able to get a handbook with it and other information in there from one of the union peeps that come in. That's where I got mine from. But before that I just Googled my union contract online and printed it off that way too.

Bottom link is the base template of the contract; it is still valid, save for the changes agreed to and shown in the top link.

Also it's based on how many hours u work as a pt. So if u only work 20 hrs average in a  year u will get paid out for 20ish hours not a full 40 hrs.
