Write ups? Counsel---->Corrective Action?

I have worked for Kroger for over 8 years. I have transferred to 2 different stores hoping things would be better. I am literally depressed! I would leave if I knew I could get a better job, but I am a single mom of 4 kids swamped by debt and a mortgage, so yeah I need my health insurance and vacation time.

The first store I was at, I believe the Store director just liked to write me up for ANYTHING just so he could make cry, make me feel like a child being punished. It got to a point that when I got to work I would throw up in the parking lot and go home crying at the end of my shift. I was at that store for over 5 years until it got to be too much with the meat mgr harassing me. I would be closing the service counter till 9 but being told I had to stay till 10 to help the meat closer finish his duties and if I didnt I would be written up for that too. So I transferred. I transferred to a store that was really nice. The Meat mgr there was a really good guy and I was impressed about how well he did his job but, The Seafood mgr was psycho. I would be working as a morning wrapper and I would be all the way down at the end of the dept filling or doing markdowns and she would be helping a customer and if another customer came up to the counter and I didnt go running to help bail her out from her swamped counter I would get yelled at or written up for poor job performance. I was there for 5 months. I transferred.

I am at the last store I can transfer to. Been here for almost 2 years now. 5 months ago The Wall Deli guy was on vacation so it was up to me to work it because no one else knows how to do it. I ended up calling out sick on a Wednesday because I was throwing up all night. They said they got some to fill it from the backstock but when I went in on Thursday There was 5 Huge 6wheelers filled with backstock. There was also a Frozen meat load and a pallet of wall deli load. I was still filling sick when I went to work that day and I picked my battles of what to tackle. I started with the Meat dept Markdowns because we dont have a morning meat wrapper so yeah the wall deli person has to do it. Then I did the sausage, no one had filled the CAP cart. I then did the pallet of frozen. I went on my break hoping that the Dairy and Deli depts would take their loads off of mine since that is how the warehouse likes to stack it. I came back from break and it wasnt done. I really dont have time to off stack other depts loads. Dairy is usually very big on top of the wall deli load. So, I decided to work the 5 6wheelers of backstock. By the time I was done with my shift I got it down to 1 1/2 6wheelers. And still Dairy and Deli had not touched the pallet. Can you guess who got written up for Poor Job Performance (Associate Counsel Report)? ME

A couple of weeks ago the Seafood Mgr went on Vacation. I was not allowed to pick on the select sched and I was forced to work the whole week on the counter (something I would NEVER choose to do). The first few days were fine, it was busy but I was doing ok. Wednesday rolled around, start of the 25% off sale. I was scheduled to go in at 7am, the counter is supposed to be up and ready by 9am. We are supposed to be open at 9am. Most of the time we get a few earlybirds, but for some crazy reason this particular day, I had SEVERAL customers. With the 25% off sale I had to make a new sign for every item in the counter. The person that closed the night b4 didnt fill any of the sausage or bacon and as the morning progressed I was running out of product with no time to fill and no one to help me on the counter with the customers or filling. I did not finish putting the counter together by 9am. Guess who got written up for POOR JOB PERFORMANCE (CORRECTIVE ACTION)? ME

So my question is, for the next POOR JOB PERFORMANCE, will i be suspended? Am I going to be fired?

There has NEVER been a time where I have stood around with my hands in my pockets! I have the arthritis in my back and my hands to prove it! I am not OLD either! I never complain to people about being in pain. I just do! 

What I dont get is what is wrong with this company that they feel it is important to break people. I hate myself. I feel worthless! 

What happened to the "lets Uplift the Employees and Uplift the Customers Campaign"?

That's all for show on yammer, the only lifting they're doing is lifting their hand to their mouth while sitting in there office 8 hours a day. And

 Are you a part if the union? You need to call your union rep and get a hold if human resources.  You are being picked on because you never stand up for yourself. Never sign a write up. You don't have to psrticipste in s meeting without your union rep. You do nit have to day anything in a meeting without a union rep. It's called Weingarten rights look it up.

This is also a way to stop it from happening! Are you a clerk? Which other department have the same pay scale as your currently on? If your doing a horrible job tell them you want to move departments, they either will back down or let you move. With everything that is going on with the workforce, Kroger can not afford to lose their long term associates.
