Uscan card only signs

You know what they should do? They should ask the software people responsible for programming the Uscans to make it display that "This lane is currently not accepting cash" message not just when a customer begins an order by touching the screen, but have it displaying permanently in its standby "Open" screen when it's not in use. And like have it flashing in neon colors or something, so customers see it before even going near the thing.

That way, don't have to bother with these stupid paper signs.

Many years ago they used to have a prompt that actually make customer "accept" that Credit Card only before scanning any items. The issues is Bookkeepers or CSM/ACSM's not performing their duties! SCO/Cashiers might not know the Bookkeeping software (VB), know exactly how much cash or each denomination is in each SCO for cash back. When cash gets below a set level icons turn yellow/red to notify the issue. If the Bookkeeper or Front Office would take a moment to look at the VB screen.....no SCO would have issues except for cash jams.

If your having issues with SCO being out of MONEY, just politely ask them to fill it. If the issues happens consistently, just tell the Store Manager, you will have to start closing the SCO's down because they are not being properly maintained by the Front Office......which normally gets the issue fixed.

Oh.....If you fill SCO's up appropriately, SCO's would take 1-5 days to empty with the amount of funds you can load. (1 day is your a HUGE cash store/cash back occurs a lot)

Well, you know me. Cashing out customers at the attendant station doesn't bother me. It does bother the customers though.

Thing is, I got tired of asking the CSM/ACSMs to fill them. I would ask them, then they'll say, ya I'll get to it. An hour passes, I ask them again, ya gonna do it? I'll get to it. I think they view it as a very low priority task. And I guess they don't fill them up right, cause they seem to fill them up daily. Like I know, yesterday when I left, my Uscan had all 6 robots with cash issues. Today, a few hours into my shift, two of them ran out of coins and dollar bills.

I don't think we even have a bookkeeper. I think whoever is running the floor, starts doing the bookkeeping like taking in all the cashier tills after 8pm. That's when they disappear into the bookkeeper's office. Maybe they do some bookkeeping in the morning. I dunno, I'm never there in the morning. But I for sure as hell know they don't do that stuff during my shift. So I don't think there is anyone in there looking at the computers and going "hmm, these Uscans need cash. I better go give them some." The last time I saw our CSM load the machines with cash had to have been 2 weeks ago.

You store has the new SCO that recycle money, so I wonder what is going on. While I know they will run out of money at some point, they really shouldn't unless everyone is using Debit and getting cash back.
