Theres this one coworker who until now I thought was being nice. I think he may have some mental disability so I brushed off some things. But today in the break room he got really close and asked me if so had a boyfriend and when I said no he told me he was looking for a lover. I didnt say anything and he eventually left. So creepy im avoiding him at all costs now and i guess that is the extent I can handle it lmao mess
Tell him you are not interested. Or, you are not looking. Or, you don't date coworkers.
If he gets too pushy, firmly warn him that you are not interested in his advances. And, he needs to stop immediately or you will complain to HR for sexual harassment.
I am sure a store manager will be happy to inform him to keep away from you or show him the door.
Women can easily get any man fired over sexual harassment, so be careful when you talk about this unless you want someone to lose their livelihood. Not defending his actions of course but just tell him you are not interested and to leave you alone. That's it.
If he has a mental disability, use a little kindness and keep in mind he may not realize how he is coming across to you. You said "I didn't say anything" when he asked you, so that just comes across as sounding like you might be a little on the unfriendly/stuck-up/rude side. At least you could say "I'm so sorry, that is nice of you , but I am not interested".
