I don't understand how the "powers that be" expect the deli to function well......and how employees will get their breaks. It's ridiculous. Oh that's right. ..they don't care.
In our store, they're dealing with it by not replacing anyone who quits and scheduling anyone left an insane amount of hours with a day off here and there if you're lucky. Thankfully I have my availability firmly set and raise hell if they try to schedule me outside of it, but people who don't have that have to work something like 8+ days with no day off.
