Are there any other stores doing SCO assessments on their front end staff? We have to evaluate ourselves on how well we think we do with self check out then we get assessed over a few weeks to see how we are doing and what we need to work on.
some members of staff are very upset about this as they are older and have never used self scan or dont know how to operate it which I think is harsh if people are going to be assesed for it and they dont know what they are doing.
Any ideas why they would be doing an assesment everyone?
Sure, I know why. The very things you described. It's a beautiful way to justify getting rid of long term, expensive/inefficient pay roll expense...i.e., employees
