yeah that sounds about right. I'm also in the Atlanta division. I have asked our union rep. multiple times for the new book, and they say "well it's still being finalized." Excuse me. The contract was ratified almost a year ago. It's just a big run around. Why do we pay them and they can't even provide us with a union book so that we know what our rights are. I am seriously considering leaving this useless union. Not worth over $9 a week

You should. I would. People gripe all the time about how unfairly unions are being crushed under by businesses and forsaken by workers, well, the unions need to seriously step up their game. This is unacceptable.
Have you gotten your card yet? I had to hound the lady for mine (over 6 months). But I have no booklet or anything. For over $9 a week, I expect a little more check in and awareness. Same division.
The complete UFCW1996 contract is available online for download. You can view it on their main website. I keep a copy on my phone just in case the Managers try something that goes against contract.
