Ive left Kroger this week as moving on to a much better job but I just wondered when does the employee discount stop working on my kroger card? I went to get a few things today and it still gave me the 10% discount is that normal?
It might be based on what your contract says about re-hiring. Under some contracts, if you quit and return withing a certain length of time, you keep your seniority and all your benefits. Maybe the card stays active during that grace period.
My store is really sloppy about offboarding. Some employees were fired more than five years ago and still have it.
I think we even leave cashier's register sign-ons in the system until we need to reuse their numbers. Some former cashiers were in the store a while back, and they signed onto the register just for fun. Management turned white as a ghost. It was hilarious.
It looks like it was still on the time-clock too. They tried to clock in, but it didn't allow them because their weren't scheduled.
