My store never has people on the floor to help out a customer. I have to excessively page someone from a department because they are no where to be found. I have a new front end manager and shes not too eager to be at Kroger, her attitude is horrible. The tags on the merchandise are expired, so we lose money for that. We lose money because our security is not being security. One night last week it was people in the store stealing so good they fill a basket bagged the groceries then got spooked when the night crew came in. That security was no where to be found as long as my coworke who was suppos to close with me that nigh. Shes so busy watching me, she doesnt even notice some of the people on the front cant count money. She tells me to pull the line when we get busy but I cant make a customer go to self checkout. The other day a woman got upset because I was about to pull her out of line. Our Kroger is not too far from the hood and a man recently attacked a woman at nearby store for being polite. People are stealing everytime I turn my back to go get cigarettes for SCO, I mean literally not even going through the line just walking right through and leaving. Theres never any thing for a spill on the front end; No wet floor signs, no baggers, mops, brooms, dustpan. The baggers are lazy, never working, never on time to work or should I say playground. The list goes on and on and on . Kroger wouldnt lose money and good employees if they would snap into reality and attack the real targets in the store.

Sounds like a value store only why it's opened because they don't want competition to come in and take over

Well that explains it all because I dont understand how any store could be this unorganized and dirty. It is ran poorly with very nonchalant management concerning serious matters. Customers First not all the way but to a certain point. I feel like about 25% of the front end where I work really care about the job. Management pays no attention to what the lazy employees do but if a good employee does something to help a customer Oh, you cant leave from up front. I thought it was customers first but I feel that a lot of customers do bother me for nothing. I could walk up an aisle and at least 3 customers would stop me to ask me something but Ill be in the middle of doing something for another customer. So what am I to do but say Hold on, Ill be right back if theres no one else around to help. I truly feel sorry for my new store manager and front end manager because these lazy employees will knock them down 9 it will be so much harder for them to get up 10.
