Dairy lead & 30+ year employee: *leaves almost entire truck, milk & eggs low, and leaves a mess in the cooler for closer working 5-6 hours despite having 8 hours to work with*

Management: *brushes it off like it's no big deal*

Me: *breaks down whole truck, works most of it, leaves just one brown cart or two*

Management: What happened? WHY CAN'T YOU FINISH THESE TRUCKS?!

I understand that I am held to a high standard and that is fine, but the other guy is a LEAD CLERK. Shouldn't he be held to a higher standard? Not only that, but he gets red-circle pay, so he's basically getting paid $17 an hour to do nothing, while I'm working my ass off for just over $10 an hour. He usually just runs yogurt and calls it a day and leaves most everything else. He never helps clean anything, so we can never get caught up on the cleaning calendar. I'm always the one cleaning what I can when I can, yet I'm the one who gets blamed when the cleaning calendar is behind. He leaves almost the entire truck, yet when I can't finish in a 5-6 hour shift, I get singled out when Dairy gets behind and nothing ever happens to him. Because of this, I fell like I have to do too much because he doesn't do enough. I once told the Store Manager that he wasn't doing enough, and the SM told me "Well, he's been here 30 years." Ok, so seniority gives him a free pass from doing his job?! That makes no sense. He is getting paid by the Kroger Company to do a job, and he is not doing it. If I am working my ass off the entire time I'm on the clock and we're still behind, then it should be clear that I am not the problem, but it is the LEAD who is the problem

Sounds like a much of BS. Your response to the Store Manager, I'm just following the lead of my the Dairy Lead Clerk, I'm following his productivity and do what you can do. I really do not understand how the company hasn't figured out a solution to yogurt. Yogurt is the most time intensive item to stock and customer wipe it out fast then anything else. (With its price point, it should be a dump and go item in Coffin Cases).
