Clicklist isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

ClickList is a major component in Kroger's e-Commerce strategy. More and more stores are getting ClickList as time goes on. It's here to stay. That's not to say that Kroger won't try to shift some of its e-Commerce business over to businesses like InstaCart through partnerships in order to save money, but ClickList is a big part of Kroger's business model going forward.

Its sounds like Kroger is going to use these warehouses to go into new markets but also to existing. If they are able to build a warehouse and delivery the items within 4 hours with not subs and all items fresh.....Clicklist as its currently exists will go away and the store will just be a pickup location if the order ins't being delivered directly. If your working on store instock levels, it really makes since to have Clicklist orders picked at a central location with a higher in-stock level.

If you are working on store in-stock levels, it really makes sense to have Clicklist orders picked at a central location with a higher in-stock level.

Instead of having them wreck departmental conditioning and then have a walk -- seven hours after the associates were done and gone and on a Sunday, the highest-volume day of the week!

Coaching to associates: you dragged down the store's score with poor conditioning.

Thank you, Coach Dilbert.

We are getting to install a clicklist so I dont think Kroger will put money into it then pull out. Click list is going to be around for a while

If you look at Clicklist the biggest cost is labor, if they do build automated warehouse expect the warehouse to do the picking (similar to RX CentralFill). The cost to install Clicklist at stores is actually very low, in reality clicklist is just a computer program and the associates picking the items on the list, if they would use the stores as a pickup only location you get the best of both worlds (they could use the stores for fresh items only).

I personally think the supervisor position is a waste. I think it was only created to cut overtime. The stores Ive been at they pretty much delegate everything and put more pressure on the Lead/clerks.

Only like two stores ive seen the supervisor run trolleys, Marshal, attend, and pretty much pick up the slack on busy days.

Supervisor are actually a Str Management position, technically they are doing "clerk work" whenever picking, doing something on the register or whatever the clerks should be doing.
