This reminds me of a guy I used to work with. He had this pattern where he'd work in one department for 1-2 years, get mad and transfer to a certain other department, cause a stink over there after about 6 mos--1 yr, and come back to the first dept (it was always the same 2 depts). Every few years he'd just leave the company altogether for some fat paying factory job.....get pissed there, hire back to the store, and START THE PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN. Well.....
One day I saw hm in HR interviewing with a manager who didn't know his history. I pulled that guy aside later, gave him the back story, manage's eyes got wide as saucers, and he said 'Nope! He's not pulling that this time'.
And the manager **** blocked the dude. F o r e v e r. Manager himself is lon gone from the company, but apparently his ruling is eternally etched in stone, cuz I've heard that dude has tried mutiple times to hire back, can't do it, and nobody will explain ANY thing to him, hahahahahahaha
Maybe the store they want to go to isn't closer than the store they work at. You can only put in a transfer to the store that is closer. Otherwise you have to put in 2 weeks notice and then apply for the other store
