So I think I recall reading something here about someone working at a store where everyone was given yellow shirts to wear during a promotion period advertising lower prices. Well the store I work at, which is located in the Southwest Division, just recently got in these (nasty looking) yellow plastic bags which are to be used in place of the typical brown bags and they put up ugly (even by Kroger standards) yellow signage around the store promoting new, low prices. I'm just wondering if t-shirts are coming next (last year, they had us wear red shirts advertising new, low prices, so I guess... our prices are even lower now? Yay...)?

At our store, we've just got a batch of the ugly yellow signs extolling the virtues of Kroger's LOW LOW LOW (and LOWER) prices. A big yellow "banner" type sign has been placed behind our banana "shelf". Any customer who pays alot of attention to our prices may realize that the price of bananas has remained virtually the same (55 cents a pound) for at least 2 years, if not longer.
Wearing the Yellow shirts was ceased on 6-1 at my store.
We will probably be using yellow bags until the warehouse runs out.
Did anyone else get the yellowish wrap on the main entrance doors?
Yeah, we got the wrap on the doors of one of our entrances. So, since we got the wrap, the bags and the signs, it made me wonder if the shirts are coming at some point.
Let's count on the Dumb@ss Division to be too cheap to spring for ugly shirts in a color that makes most people look like asphyxiating fish. It's too cheap to provide pallet jacks that work and too incompetent to put Band-Aids in the first-aid kits, so let's hope they are consistent.
