How do I contact corporate anonymously
Permalink

So I want corporate to send some one (undercover) to our store to pay attention to how employees work and how management handles it. We have a lot of issues at our store that needs to be addressed, but higher ups are ignoring it. It's like they don't care. If I do this openly then an alert will be sent to the store and management will turn against me. So I need to do this anonymously. Things need to change! People need to do the jobs they are getting paid for.

Well, for starters let me clue you in on something: Kroger corporate is the enemy. Blowing the whistle on your store to them is like running to the playground bully's dad---whatdoya think's gonna come of that?

You're better off calling your state dept. of labor relations.

I second that! Corporate is the reason Kroger is the way it is!

The post under you is exactly right.  The "higher ups" don't care and only care about themselves, it's that way at every store at every retail company expect for maybe one or two.  Just do want you can and don't let the noise bother you.

My store has the same problems. I believe Kroger cares what happens in the stores. Our store manager seems to know when corporate is visiting. If only they knew how the place really ran...... people would be out if a job..  Delta division .........

Corporate is fully aware of how stores are really operating. It is corporate who chooses to run stores on a skeleton crew, with less hours than necessary to do the job properly. This is why corporate always gives the store advance notice that they'll be making a visit. The old "dog and pony show" at its finest!

A few different ways come to mind:

Ask your union rep to do it for you and make sure they don't state your name.  Just store number.

Ask a coworker to do it without stating any names.

Just say you'd like to be anonymous and reporting "x" issue at store xxx.

The one thing you need to be careful about is if it relates to a particular issue or story line.  If two people are bickering and the other reports then the other knows exactly who did it.  Then you're time will be even more miserable.

Thats the truth. They want their pay checks and dont care whos goin crazy or breaking their back to make it happen. They dont care if everyone is sippin lemonade all day. If the one guy working is finishing everything, its done, right? Not my problem!

Exactly. There is a reason corporate doesn't just "drop in" unexpectedly. The idea is give a store plenty of notice so store management/district coordinators and managers/employees are forced to scramble and make everything look pretty so that when corporate does stop by, a majority of the store "appears" to be in compliance and everyone gets to pat one another on the back and tell themselves how much they've "earned" their bloated salaries and bonuses. It's all about making themselves feel good while thinking happy thoughts and shielding themselves from the actual reality of how things are.

Corporate IS THE REASON FOR CRAPPY CONDITIONS in the stores. They know we are understaffed, yet they don't give more hours to remaining workers, and they don't pay them enough to make a living. They like it like that. If they could legally make it even worse, they would.

I swear sometimes I feel like they want us all to just die so they don't have to pay our wages, BUT the work would still somehow get done. Squeeze them till they can't breathe no more. They don't give a crap about us, the small folk who make their paychecks happen. Same way they ask us this condescending stupid question "who made your paycheck? - a satisfied customer". I would say same to the corp. - WE the hard workers made THEIR millions happen. They could at least give us wages that are high enough to pay the rent and necessities.

They also don't care if half the store is not doing their job. As long there is the other half of decent folk stupid enough to have work ethics high enough not allowing them to not leave any work undone. Stupid poor basturds we are. ef the c.
