   I have been threatened way too many times. Over a year ago one of the employees threatened me with their 2 sons. I wasn't written up the next day because I missed my temps. Of course I missed my temps I was distracted by the threat. One person in that department starts belittling someone, everyone else follows. This becomes bullying, because then you are the only one there defending yourself. Management says they'll talk to the others about it then nothing happens. All these employees do half ass jobs and get away with it. Management actually defends them. The minute I were to do what they are doing, I'd be written up and suspended.

I walked in today to closers doing a half ass job. I'm the only one willing to say something to the others (to their face) so they hate me. I don't join in on the gossip, I'm not afraid to speak up, so they all gang up on me. This is bullying.  

My transfer came in and Management asked me if I wanted to go ahead with the transfer. I told them that the only way I would stay is if things changed. I was then told that I should stay because the Lead position is going to be open, and I already know everyone there. So, I decided to stay. After me having the guts to write the note letting them know they need to do their jobs., the gossip started. Today I was threatened by a new employee ( I think jokingly). Then another employee hit me on my arm and told me to shut up. Then said they would hit me again. Any time one employee starts talking about me, they all jump in and start harassing me. I spoke with management about this and they told me to just go ahead and go home (30 minutes early). I asked if it is too late for the transfer and they said "Yes". I said "I'm going to write in another one. They said "No" They said they would transfer me to another department.  I don't want to lose my job because of others behavior, but I truly have had enough of this childish behavior by grown adults, 

 

 

  It isn't right that I get treated like this by other employees, because they want to fit into the crowd. This is bullying, when it's one person up against several. When people are standing there laughing about it and letting it happen.

If management isn't doing anything about it, you should call your Union steward and ask them for help with this. In this case  The only reason they should resolve by transferring you to a different department is if you aren't getting job done correctly in a timely manner or if you ask. It really sounds like they're needs to be a talk or some write ups.

If u already know u have a crappy crew thats all against u why the hell did u stay for the chance of being a lead???

 To het a better crew. The only reason they're crappy is because the Lead alliws it. If they had someone that didnt allow it, they'd be hone or do their jobs and grow up.

File a complaint with Kroger Ethics Point.  Hopefully it won't make the situation worse but at least you can bring it to the company's attention.  I've been studying about work place bullying because it keeps happening.  The worst part is people don't even realize they're doing it.  A good youtube video I recently stumbled across https://youtu.be/MSXQcuGRQYI shall hopefully be of some use to you.  Another video I found interesting is https://youtu.be/IQjUp_nDEsA?list=PLgcDEJSVdQ8b9Uymqi_R9AuZbxOA5m1tr .  The problem about filing some hr complaints is they just bring the attention to the individual creating the issue.  Some times you need to become company smart and get people above you into you social circle/click.  Make the bully become aware they do not have authority over you.  If you are of a protect class you can file a ethics complaint with WA DC.  EEOC I think it's called.

I'd put in another transfer.  From what I've heard from 2 DH's and a lead that they can't deny you one.  Try again.

The ones who are bullying me are friends with each other outside of the work place. Once they start on me, others follow, just so they can fit in and not get bullied themselves. It's sad. I work with a bunch of childish adults. I'm not the person who tries to fit in. I'm not a follower. That's just not me. I'm a grown ass adult who will just be me, whether you like it or not.

     I did put in another one. Hopefully this time it gets pushed!
