If you cover your dsd receiver's vacation,  do you get his pay?

You should get their pay or premium......or next time don't do their work.

No you do NOT get relief pay.  You are not covering for a management position.  The receiver is not a position that get paid a premium.  It's just another full-time position with a title.  Yes you will get the overnight premium for when you come in early in the morning, but anyone that works those hours get that.  For me this past week my department manager was on vacation and since im the back-up, I got her pay for the week.  That's because managers have a set pay based on the level of your store.

 DSD is a premium position in most divisions. 0.75$ extra here.

I think you have to get paid. You did some work and any work has to be paid.
