New product advertising Signs (like posters) glued to the floor, all over the store. Do you like them?

Not sure if these are being placed in all the stores, but ya know these big "poster-like" signs that are being placed all over the store, 'glued' in place, as additional advertising / promotion for various products on the nearby shelves?  ANYONE else besides me HATE those things?  I keep thinking I am seeing a big poster someone just dropped on the floor!  They just irritate me.  Besides being a little OCD, maybe it bugs me because I like things to look neat and "in their correct place".  Along one aisle (dairy dept), looking down the aisle froma  distance, they are not lined up correctly, and look like they were installed by some grade school kids (nothing against kids, but just sayin).

On top of that, after awhile, those floor "mat' signs with those large, beautiful full-color photos of enticing food (like bowls of cereal with strawberries, or a steaming place of mashed potatoes and gravy with mac & cheese, whatever), look NASTY because of being covered with spots, small rips, cuts, scratches, stains, shoe "scrapings" on them. Only a matter of time before the look just plain DIRTY and gross!  (Yeah, I want some black rubber boot marks on my gourmet meal!)

Yes! Im always reaching down thinking somebody dropped paper. My biggest advertising peeve as of late though it the number of displays and shippers. I work at a high volume store with much less square footage than we require. You cant move as It is. Then they put these stupid things in every aisle.

We used to have them but I haven't seen any for several months.  Probably not since the first of the year or even earlier.

yeah.....  Shippers and three-tier stands galore here, in every aisle.  ALOT more added in the last several weeks.  Almost an obstacle course.

Does Corporate not know that obstructions in the aisles are one of the biggest gripes that customers mention on their online surveys???????

Those stupid shippers and three tier stands make it a pain in the a** to get pallets around and shelves stocked. They want us to run 55 case an hour(My supervisor suggest 85 an hour) but we have to move so much just to get the items on the shelf

I don't believe shippers or three-tier stands are completely corporate decisions, I think those are more of a KMA option. They believe shippers are three-tier stands as impulse buys and the only reason shippers are available is because the cost of the items is cheaper.

All that, plus, giant cardboard cut-outs that obstruct aisle entries, stick-on signs that block views of product behind glass doors, and, maybe worst of all, the three-dimensional laser blinders that blast out from the glass doors.
