One of the cashiers at the location I work at had to call a manager over this Thursday because a customers of hers was wanting the 2 day Friday and Saturday e coupon sale price on Thursday.
Technically we can refuse the sale. I wish they wouldn't set up the displays on Thursday it's poor advertisement. Just tell them we can not make it right on digital sales. Due to the fact technically we are not allowed to do price over rides on these items. We're supposed to do the digital coupon but that also requires to know the price of the item.
Can't do it-register won't let the sale go thru. We had this issue in our store several times
You can do it with the override. However, you CAN and WILL be in trouble for doing so. If a customer wants a Friday sale price, they wait until Friday like everyone else. It wont hurt them to wait and they actually have no choice.
