The other day a man and a woman got into an argument at the customer service desk. He thought she was taking too long and was holding up the line. She probably was. Anyway, the bitch sprayed the guy with pepper spray. The police were called. If it were me, I would definitely press charges against the woman.
Depends if she felt he was a danger to her person. If he was in her face in a threatening manner then she may NOT get in ANY trouble for using the spray.
But if he was keeping his distance when the arguement took place, then she could be charged with assult.
At my last location we were allowed to carry pepper spray on us after 8 pm due to the under staffing and arrogance of the haughty s.o.b. difficult to deal with customers. We were allowed to use if they became a "physical" threat. One condition they had to make the first move. Half the time the police didn't get there on time. Five minutes is occasionally not fast enough in certain situations. His fault for starting the argument and getting pissy. We no longer live in a world of manners. People get harassive verbally because we're taught to not use "physical" violence but words are okay even though they cause emotional damage.
