We started using yellow plastic bags a few days ago (around the same time they posted huge yellow "barely-see-through" advertising signs across the glass panes on the front doors).
Not sure if these yellow bags are the new norm, or is it temporary? The yellow bags look EXACTLY like the bags used by Dollar General, except for the Kroger logo.
Also, customers are already complaining about the yellow signage on the door glass. When the lighting is just right, you can't see what is on the other side of the door until it opens. One customer left a survey response stating it was a "little creepy" and someone else said they liked to see who was on the other side of the glass before they walked through the door.
We are already out of yellow bags. Bag to the original ones. We do still have the yellow sign on front door. We were told to stop wearing the yellow tshirt on June 1st.
The same stuff showed up at my store about a month or so ago. The yellow bags sure look nasty and on top of that, the ugly (even by Kroger standards) yellow signage is all around the store supposedly promoting new, low prices. And yeah, you sometimes simply can't see who is on the other side of the sliding entrance doors until the doors open, so you have to be prepared to get out of the way once the doors open.
We haven't been given any yellow shirts, though. I hope that doesn't happen... I mean, the yellow bags are just... ugh, and the shirts would probably be just as bad.
The problem I have with the yellow signs on the doors is you can't see when someone is coming out when you're trying to go in. You walk up and bam there's somebody right inside the door on their way out.
