Is night premium added to regular pay?

Is night premium added to regular pay?  For example if your regular pay reads: 13.50.  But overnight premium says: 1.00.  Does that add to 14.50 or is it just 13.50?  I'm confused, thanks.

It's shown separately--it has its own box on your pay stub--at least, in the Dallas Division.  So, you'd have $13.50, plus, separately but included in the total, $1.00 times your number of hours between 2200 and 0600.

Figuring out pay statements is one of the minor challenges of working here.

In Delta, night premium is not shown separately unless you have a pay premium for backup or lead, then it is separated and you lose the money for any hours worked outside of the 10p-6a night premium time, whereas when it is combined, even if you come in early or stay late, you'll still get that night premium for all hours worked.

Yes.  It's calcualted into your paycheck as premium pay.  Don't count on a lot of it.  It's cents not dollars.  Kroger employees got screwed on the last contract.  We use to get dollars on contract pay increases.  Now we're fighting for cents.
