I worked 40 hours the last 2 weeks, but only got paid for 32. Last week I got paid for holiday pay and 32 hours. I worked 40 hours, not 32. I had to write my schedule in because I had just transferred and they probably made the mistake there, but 2 weeks in a row is too much. I brought it up to them and all they could say was I got Sunday pay. Yeah I got 8 hours Sunday pay, 8 hours holiday pay, and 24 hours for the rest of the week. Where's the other 8 hours. Everyone got holiday pay even those who got paid for working 40 hours.
Seriously, if you don't know how to input numbers into the system, especially for payroll, then you shouldn't be working in that area, let alone working when it comes to somebody's money. Absolutely zero errors should happen. This is just another way of how Kroger likes to screw people over. Like I said before, they did it on purpose.
Have them look it up in Kronos. If you know exactly what days/times you worked and you have a missing day, there's the problem... come on management knows this. They don't want to be bothered to look into it...
I do an inquiry on my hours at the time clock every shift. As soon as I notice an error, I go make one of them fix it. I would start doing that if I were you.
That is why I asked about length with the company and if the transfer was from another Union Contact. The 8 hours missing would most likely be hours worked on the holiday (Holiday Pay is automatic 2/4/6/8 hours depending on your status/average daily hours).
Im confused... 24 hours plus 8 sunday is 32 plus 8 holiday is 40? Am I crazy?
If you work 40 hours in a holiday week you get paid 40 hours plus 8 hours holiday pay. That equals 48 hours. I got paid 40. Do you understand now?
I did not work the Holiday. I wasn't scheduled that day, but worked the day before and the day after. I worked 7 days in a row before I got that holiday off. I then worked 2 days after that and got the following Saturday off. They screwed me out of 8 hours pay.

Ohhh, I see. Well, you were saying that you only got paid for 32, not that you got paid for 40 but needed 48. i just got confused. You can bring up any paystub through great people (if you can log on) and show it too them. Get them to go to kronos and sit there with them and watch them do it. If you transferred, its likely that you had to sign some sort of book or paper with your times, so your proof is there. If you wait too long and havent done it yet, they wont give you the retro pay. I think its 2 or 3 weeks. Its just odd that they gave you the 8 hour holiday pay without having the solid 40 hours to start with. Id bring that up to them too if anything. Makes no sense.

I know how you feel I had jury duty in June and still have not been paid. I had jury duty two days. I was there eight hours both days. I worked three days after I got out of jury duty. 24 hours work plus eight hours for two days jury duty is 40hours together. I got paid for 24 hours only. I am trying to figure out why I did not get paid for 16 hours jury duty. I notify union but I still am waiting for my pay.
So on your pay stub it stats: ? Holiday Pay - 8 Hours Sunday Pay - 8 Hours Regular - 24 Hours
Yes!
So if you worked the holiday, your missing either the hours worked on the holiday or the "holiday pay". If you didn't work the holiday your missing 8 hours somewhere else in the week. Just ask a Co-Manager to pull up the Kronos and see what was clocked for that week, then ask them to pull up in Kronos what was scheduled. If there is an issue, they will go into "History" and add the missing information and you will receive the pay on the next check.
*This is assuming your receive an additional 8 hours of holiday pay as a "Bonus".
