Work hour minimum?

I'm a part time employee (Cashier/ APC) and it was my understanding that that guaranteed me at least 20 hours/ week. This is upheld by the fact that sometimes we have CC's who want to work no more than 16 hours a week (8 hour shifts on weekends) for school purposes, and they are required to fill out a form for working less than 20 hours.

Additionally, they changed my schedule without notice, so one of the 3 days I work is during class (This was listed on my availability), so I won't be able to work hardly any of it. I am currently only scheduled for 15 hours. Are there requirements througout King Soopers that require minimum hours? As far as my schedule goes, this semester is better than any other schedule I've given them in the past 3 years so it shouldn't be an issue.

Thank you.

Youll have fun with the scheduling process. The co-manager would always give me the wrong hours even when the lead would give him the schedule he made for the week. The lead was just dumbfounded every week for the **** ups he did to the schedule. Finally some one more competent is now doing my schedule but hey it only to 3 months to get it right... Theyre not suppose to change your schedule with out notice once its posted. If you told them you cant work certain days then there isnt a damn thing they can do about it.

All I have gotten is middle fingers from Kroger while trying to schedule around school.

Constant scheduling during classes, actual scheduled overtime during finals week, the occasional 12 hour week if I complain too much, and then one manager went and changed my schedule every week to cover a gap until I failed both classes that semester.  I had to change departments.

Get a student job or something else.  Kroger will only hold you back in life.
