Usually the coordinator for your store has to certify you. Which would be grocery. However, for things like frozen lead, I don't think they need to do that. The dairy lead here simply pressed store management and they rectified their title/pay a week later.
Im taking over Frozen food dept at my Krogers and have completed all computer based training.
what all has to happen in order for me to get certifie? And yes I have been with the company for
about three years. I even left for another job and came back to Kroger a month later Im the ADH
for grocery fast forward to now....frozen lead?
do frozen leads ever get dept head pay? If not, that is probably the ****tiest job in the store. Dealing with meat and deli **** in your freezer as well as pizza and ice cream vendors having backstock. It's crazy cold in there and boring out on the sales floor. Dragging iced-over carts out only to have the ice melt and drip all over the floor. Ice buildup on the freezer floor. **** a bunch of that
I think they get the same premium as an ADH. There's no reason to transfer from grocery ADH to frozen unless it's easier work. You have a much better career path as the ADH (moving to grocery manager, and into store management if that's your plan)
