Do you think it's a better option?

I am in grocery overnights and get paid well, but I am thinking of trying something new.

If you get paid well then why quit. Whole Foods has its problems just like Kroger so your just going into another set of problems.

Whole Foods just got bought by Amazon and  everything I've heard says it's even worse working for Amazon than it is Kroger.

It would be a title change with a .50 raise. Right now I am top pay and just a overnight stocker, say I get the position I would have a higher title with a little more pay and probably less work.

I am kind of comfortable at Kroger since all I have to do is throw my aisle and go home.

Sounds like one frying pan to another frying pan......Have you investigated the difference in benefits? Also, have you thought about the longer term benefits? Whole Paycheck will be changing fast with Amazon taking over, Sprouts will begin to have issues with other like competitors...going forward.

While I agree, I guess the up move in title is appealing, I would be more than a grocery clerk (nothing wrong with it!), also, I would more so have to manage the load getting done and end caps instead of just taking care of my aisle.

I could try for department head but I've seen them used and abused and that makes the job very unappealing.

It's a coin flip and very well may be going from one frying pan to another. I worked at a smaller store before and enjoyed it. Have any of you made the tramsitiot or vice versa? Any regrets?

True. I have direct inside information about Amazon employment that is downright creepy---their employees are treated almost literally like slaves.

Please do share any info you have.  My son is thinking of trying for one of their warehouse positions.

Whole Foods is now owned by Amazon, and things are deteriorating over there from what I hear. Avoid. I've heard nothing about the employee side for Sprouts
