My hours got sodomized and now I only make around $250 a week if I'm lucky. I know someone who makes more money in one night delivering pizzas than I do in a week working for Kroger. How long do you have to be in the union to get unemployment? Is the unemployment at least $200 a week? If so, I want to find out the best way to get terminated so I can just get unemployment and make real money doing something I enjoy instead. Can my union rep help me figure out a good strategy for getting terminated? I feel like I'd make more money that way tbh...

Haha no. The rep will laugh in your face. And yeah on a few good nights pizza guys will make more in tips then you do in a week. Get off your self entitled fat ass and contribute to society. Guess you want food stamps too right.

75-80% of the time Kroger doesn't fire you, but they will permanently suspend you. This is a way to avoid the unemployment claim. Union is there to protect your job. That's why you pay them. There are some dirty Union Reps though. This is why I don't go to the Reps. I go to the Union President, call or email the Union office.
