Ask your union rep. Ours include discount tickets to zoos, theathers, travel, cars, phone plans, and plenty others. Make sure in your state/division our can withdraw from being in the union

Highly disagree.  A good union will keep nasty capitalist from paying you nickels.

"Good union"?  The problem is finding such a thing in modern America.  Unionism is a lofty, well-meaning idea, and many of the first unions (100 years ago) were really trying to help the common workers.  BUT, as time has went on, unions have gotten increasingly corrupt, money-hungry and deceptive.  Now, most of the reason why they exist is to line the pockets of their own 'head honchos".

And speaking of Capitalism.  True capitalism just means a FREE society where companies / businesses/ corporations are in PRIVATE hands and the people are FREE to compete with each other to offer goods and services to the public.  YES, in capitalism, as in all things, there are BAD people who are greedy and corrupt and give the word "capitalism" and "capitalist" a bad name.  In itself, there's really nothing wrong with capitalism.  Capitalism is one of the main reasons why the United States, even accounting for it's many faults, is still the best country in the world.  The opposite of capitalism is Socialism (and the leftist/extreme liberals in the Democrat party are now trying to re-define that word to imply something positive........which it is NOT!!!)

True 100% Socialism means everything is ultimately controlled by the government (almost always a government that ends in being a murderous, wicked dictatorship), and every country that COMPLETELY embraces socialism eventually deteriorates into total chaos. (Read about Venezuela, a country that used to be prosperous, and now is hell on earth).  Every socialist / communist country gets sucked into the same kind of disaster............. Mass murders by the government, most Freedoms that are taken for granted in a capitalist society are taken away, the system of buying and selling is thrown into a total mess, price fixing, corruption, people become distrustful of each other, there are spies everywhere working for the government, and people are often not even free to leave the country if they want to.

Currently, the United States is not a 100% Capitalist nation. It is about 80% capitalism and has some of the (few) positive elements of Socialism (Social Security, for instance), to make a fairly good balance.  When that balance is upset and the nation moves to a 100% Socialism model, look out for disaster!

Sorry for the rant. Just some thoughts to pass along.
