An employee I work with
Permalink

A fellow employee I work with is a cashier. However, they applied for bigger and still want to transfer. What would some of the lines be that management hands out to basically say they don't want to approve of the transfer?

If you mean bagger why would anyone want to do that, they'd be taking a pay cut...

WHOOPS! I meant bagger. Sorry about the misspelling. "No" would work, but I should have said the less obvious lines where they  basically hem-haw.

Manager can not deny you the opportunity of a transfer.  You can challenge it if the store forces you to transfer.  It's in the union contract.
