krogers doesn,t treat employees fair:(

My krogers that I work at isn,t fair to it,s employees. We get our hours cut and the other managers get overtime and I have been there longer then they have. Management at my store have their favorite picks. You shouldn,t have favorite picks. Everybody should be equal. I,ve been with krogers for almost 7years. I love what I do but the manager isn,t fair to our people that,s been their longer. I have to do 3 other jobs where I work at and that,s not right because they won,t hire other people for help. They want to get their bonus checks and forget about us employees. They make more then us:(  Why should we have to put up with this?

You Have to learn that when any Department Manager gets overtime, its different from you getting overtime (it goes on a different budget), and If its a co-manager or associate they work on  salary, so they cant have any overtime no matter how much they work. They might not be able to hire anyone because there is a certain number of hours each department has. All you have to do is work your shift, do what they tell you and go home, if you do that there should be no problem.

I think this is right on the money. Many blow off personal and vacation time and just take the money, anyone that wants to take the time and give the hours to other employees make them look bad so they're refused Or bullied out of it, and then they become cranky bitches and make everyone miserable. add to that under scheduling trucks and daily business so 'visits' can be over scheduled and it becomes a mess.

I don't think this is true, department heads' overtime still goes into the overtime budget for the week. I know mine does at least if I'm given OT. It's just we're more likely to be approved for the overtime, because if you have a good department head, store management knows they're actually working during this time.

Department heads are never salary, we're all hourly employees.

I think you need to learn the difference between a comma (,) and and apostrophe (') on a keyboard.  The comma is in the bottom row between the M and the period.  The apostrophe is in the row above it next to the ENTER key.  It can also be used as a single quote or as a symbol for ft.
