I was told that the "company" would have to pay fines if an employee skipped their break or lunch. Has anyone else heard of this?

My vote has to be for any dairy "lead" .50 cent raise while other "Head" spots get "significant" raises (in Kroger terms of course), all while having to order (Milk and eggs being especially a pain in the ass at times), make schedules and constantly be the #1 contact for management to harp on. I got an email saying that they were going to go with another applicant but I just went in for an interview and drug test/background check two days ago and the manager said they would contact me by phone. Did this happen to anyone else? Did I not get the job?
