Just got told I would not work out by lead at front end. She said I was not showing up for my shifths. I have just 1 schelude since I started on Feb.2nd 2017. I got really sick and called in. So now I dont have a job anymore I do not think she was being fair. What can I do now?

Can Kroger fire me for calling off? They haven't put me on any steps when I should be on a step 2 by now and it's been a month? Some people say they can and some say they can't because I haven't been told about being on a step 1, 2, or 3
