Hi all, I do not work for Kroger but my wife does for around 11 years, I am baffled at how they expect someone to work an 8 hour shift with only ONE 15 minute break and no lunch (paid or not paid whatever). So, my last day off this week was last Sunday. Looked at the new schedule today and I work Sunday through Wednesday which means I'd be working 9 days straight. I was also scheduled 41 hours with just Wednesday off. How can they schedule someone 41 hours in a week? I also work at a store in Kentucky.

I recently stepped down as a lead clerk after being one for 5 years. I expected to lose the 50 cent premium pay for being a lead clerk. I did not expect to also lose my reclassification pay I had gotten 5 years earlier. Does anyone know Krogers policy on this?

I ask the question because my managers are followers of key retailing and find absolutely no faults with it. I think if Wave 9638 asked for a human sacrifice, these management fools would call it a good idea and offer their children to fulfill the blood hunger of the Kroger gods.
