Is there anything more annoying as paper bags? For Christ's sake old people you don't live in the damn 50's any more. And a few plastic bags aren't going to ruin the environment any more than it already fricken is.

Well the title pretty much sums it all up. I was hired before the min. wage increase took effect in July, making 6.55/hr. At a full 40 hours I was bringing home roughly 250-260 per week. Now that I am making 7.25/hr I should be bring home 280-290 per week, but I am still bringing home what I did at 6.55/hr...

What are the point of the csrs in the ugly red vest on the front end. They don't do anything useful but yell for people to comeup front and tell you when to go on break. As short handed as most stores are why do we have csr's instead of extra cashiers.

They told me I would make a base salary plus yearly bonuses. How much are the bonuses usually? Also, what kind of benefits do they offer, the person who I interviewed with did not provide me any details about medical, dental, 401K, etc.

So Friday night..I work 8 and a half hours. 130 to ten at night...then I wake up this morning, only suppost to work until noon. BUT, a huge order came in...and I had to work until four in the afternoon. A nine hour day. So I'd say that this last week at Kroger has been crazy.
