Like seriously, I went to Kroger last Wednesday after applying online, got an interview, and was told I got the job. The manager said I'd get a call letting me know when orientation was after my background check finished. Flash forward and it's been nearly a week since my background check finished (it...

When I was hired a few months ago, I went through cashier training and we were told that we have to check everyone's ID if they're buying alcohol or tobacco products (including lighters) and certain medications. They also told us that they could be 100 years old and look old as dirt and we'd still have to...

New manager, new rules, lazy staff are told to man up and do your job. Finally. The lazy staff were grumbling up a storm today because they were actually told to "work" for a change. If they didn't work the manager would get on their rear about it.

Now that masks are optional people that don't like wearing them stripped them off on the first day. The rest of us wear them because we want to. Customers: Please stop force asking employees to remove them. It's not against the law. Thank you. After the swine flue in the early 1900's people continued t...

We have this bagger who almost ALWAYS leaves early frim her shift. EVEN IF we are swamped. Shes a good worker, but it puts a burden on the rest of the associates. Even me. I am no longer a cc, but when she leaves early (85-90% of the time) I MUST finish her taks which puts me behind. I am a day-stocker and I have...

I can not tell you how many people arrive 1-2 hrs early to work due to carpooling or the bus, sit in the break room watching vids on their phone until it's time to work.
