all you have to do with go backs is have one employee from every dept
when they come to work is take your go backs with u to your dept on every shift. one sorter at night is key thank u

The front end sorts them and then we do them. But management does not see it that way.

At my store, they generally accumulate until the early evening.  Then, a cashier if we can spare one or courtesy clerk goes for it, and we do runs of go backs all the rest of the night.

I would totally do gobacks. It seems like a reverse scavenger hunt, haha.

where are you sorting your go backs now?  our racks of baskets have been moved from behind customer service to the front window for the customers to all see as they're checking out and leaving. confuse:

I think they need to be put back by each department every hour.

that would be a little too much.  go backs are one of them unfortunate part of retailing.  all stores got them. small departments got it easy since they do not have much to put back.   but grocery has tons.
