indianapolis man shots produce manager in parking lot. he had one year left to retirement r. i. p. kroger didnt even close the store. i know the show must go on but what about the people who had to work their for the rest of the day. i guess u get no grieving period. what a f.u place to work. if you get hurt at work they fight u for comps. if u die they dont even ****ing care. so if u see a shoplifter dont try to stop them only if they are hurting someone because if u get hurt doing so they wont care and no comp just a question why.
I was saddened to read this news , I work for Kroger and it is a disturbing thought that if something happened to me that they could keep the store open while I lay dead in their parking-lot.
My heart goes out tho the family of the victim and co-workers
He wasn't a Manager, his name was Wendell and he was a warm funny guy who everyone liked. He wasn't trying to stop a shoplifter, it was a random act of violence by a ****ed up kid.
Kroger didn't close the store, but that store has a huge upstairs area and the employees were upstairs. Counselors were brought in and they were able to be together.
Employees from other stores came and worked that store.
