yes i know its spelled wrong and i apologize. im not sure how to spell it. ok, whenever a employee is slow i always used to push you know total and EFT or whatever. but anoter cashier told me to secure my register in the middle of the order. i do it like she says and it works good but i seem to be the only one that does it besides her. also when my boss was talking to us about ring time and he was saying how o your pretty much screwed if a customer hands you a kroger card and they dont unload their cart. you'd think he would know about it, right? im confused.

Your ring tender begins as soon as you scan the 1st item (even their plus card), so try not to scan their card until they have a few items on the belt. Always sign completely off when you have no customers. This will lower your sign on hours verses your items scanned per sign on hours thus bringing up your ring tender.

We were just told today by our asst manager that signing off between customers is not to be done!  We were told it does NOT improve % of rings per....so therefore do NOT do it...also only allow a Max of 6 sign ins per day.
