So, I've just started working at Kroger, 3rd shift, stocking those never-ending shelves. I got a call, that next week, they want me to come to day...and help the dairy section. So, I have NO idea what happens working on this part....anyone out there have any experience that could tell me what I can expect when I start?
I work in the dairy department at my store in Indianapolis. To briefly summerize your job duties. 1. Keep milk, eggs, juice stocked(the basic's) 2. Sorting milk deliveries (It's easier than you think) plus you use a two wheel dolley to lift the stacks off the skid. 3. Regular rotating and stocking of merchandise. 4. Markdowns on close dated items 5. Tieing up milk skids to be sent back. (another easy task) Don't worry it is better than 3rd shift.
