I've been with Kroger for 3 yrs now, and 3 different stores. every store SUCKS!!!! ever since this world became " ALL ABOUT ME" nobody gives a Sh** about anybody. they just act like they do.  but anyway I'm soooo confused about management, it's like damn if you do and damn if you don't.. i work in customer care, and every time some one brings something back ( NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANES ARE ) the manager ALWAYS gives the refunds. even if you say no, the manager always override you and makes you look like a dick, that happens all the time.  they say " JUST MAKE THEM HAPPY"  well what about us???? i was at a store that collected a dollar for wearing your colts shirt, an that money WAS suppose to be used for the Christmas party, well, two years went by and NO parties.. money just kept on building in the safe, ( WHICH I"M SURE IT LANDED IN SOMEONES POCKET!!)   also.. MEETINGS>>>   what are those??? the managers don't think we need those. they expect everyone to know everything,  LIKE THEM!! i hear soo many employees say " I DIDN"T KNOW THAT"   but what can you do.. just pray that you die soon to get away from these a*sh*ol*s!!!

Join your Cultural Council team and work together to a positive result for you and the customer.  The Cultural Council is a good team and you will be able to interact with management and all other departments. At our store we also have meetings with the Cultural Council members from other stores to discuss issues like the one that you are talking about on here.  Try it and see if it will help you.  Don't give up!!

Yes the cultural council is awesome. The one in my store has managed to improve things a lot.

I know right?
i mean seriously, people need to learn that sometimes sh*t happens, and u just have to get over it even if that means they're out a couple dollars. There's no need to be rude to us just because we work at a grocery store, and those of us that are young, people need to show some respect for us.
