the pay sucks,they don;t hire enough people,they expect miracles,the managers act like they know everything and talk to you like your a stupid retard.......i worked at a kroger in houston for almost 2 years and i quit yesterday because some dumb lady who is a shrink coordinator screwed up my benefits....we have to enroll in november so i went to the office in november and the shrink coordinator helped me and assured me i was good to go.the other day i found out that a mistake was made and i somehow declined all benefits...Her mistake......and this lady has been with kroger for many years and acts like she wrote the book or something.her years with kroger somehow entitles her to treat people with a ****ty attitude.......i could go on forever but i'll post another complaint later on.
why do people always blame things on others. damn lady take some responsibility for yourself.
enrolling for beni's isnt rocket science and you should be able to do that BY YOURSELF. Don't you have a computer? What are you using to post your venom now? Go to the site you got the beni letter from and enroll! thats how i did it along with several thousand other kroger employees.

Always had more that enough time to enroll in benifits. Our local checks constantly to make sure we do each year. management even gets a list of who has to and makes sure they have it done in the store. I am the only one in our markt with a home computur. Every one else does it at store lever and I or the Co-manager helps. You geta conformation that it is doneand time to change it if done early enough. To those that think it is that bad then try Wal-mart. We had many people that whent there only to beg to come back to kroger.
