Do not know and just in the store and heard about it. Not voting on it until the 23 rd or something around there. But I am in Local 540 and our contract expires in a few weeks and the Houston Locals are all expired since early April. If I find out anything I will post it. Some of us , in 540 , want some definition on the ELMS scheduling and the hours to get it done correctly regardless of the overtime.

Everyone has been hush hush on it and none of the members in my store, had been told anything other that voting starts the 23 rd and 24 th on a contract ratification. Can not say anything other that it just seems odd that it takes 12 days to set up time to vote. Always was under the impression that you want to get a contract to the members a fast as possible to vote on.

Only thing I got from some of the members is that it was a 4 year deal, They got $1 over the contract life. The pension was fixed for the older ones but newer members would see less pay out from it than others. And they did improve the healthcare quite a bit but then it was a train wreck to start with. Just surprised it was 4 years. Thought they would go 3 and that woyuld finally put the Houston locals Dallas540 and local 1000 all up at one time. More barganing power that way.
