What is krogers policy for those that are curently employed. I think that my manger found out im a big pot head and wants to get rid of me. I know i can pass the **** saliva tests but can i still get fired
Under our contract, Once hired, you can not be randomly drug tested. But get hurt or harm another employee and they can demand a drug test. Had a meat cutter , a few years back, accidentally cut another person while boneing on the block.He was drug tested and failed. He was terminated. Do all the Pot you want but get hurt and test positive and you are terminated and Kroger will not pay the medical bills you occur.
Just be VERY careful. ESPECIALLY if they are known to spring drug tests without proper notification. I smoke trees as well, but I do so every so often. Like on my vacation or Friday nights being as I have no work on the weekends.
From what I've seen, testing policies vary widely by contract. Mine only says no polygraphs but we can be tested for drugs if there is indication of use.
It's super easy to pass a polygraph. Just remain calm, EVEN if they keep pestering you, do NOT lose your cool. Polygraphs say you are "lying" if they detect the smallest amount of nervousness.
